We hear from architects, engineers and contractors all the time about why they use modular construction. And of course, you know where we stand. But industry experts McGraw Hill Construction took the conversation a step further a in report that ties modularization to increased productivity in the construction industry.
According to the report, improved productivity is by far the leading motivation for all three groups (architects, engineers and contractors) to use modular today. Competitive advantage and greater ROI were also at the top of the list. We found it especially interesting that the same group goes on to cite cost savings, time savings, and better quality control as additional reasons to use modular in the future.
So what is the value of increased productivity in design, engineering and construction? Is productivity top on your list?
