This 1-minute video shows how simultaneous in-factory fabrication and site preparation allow modular construction to cut build times by up to 50%. Under the direction of the ModSpace Franchise and Retail Team, this project not only had an accelerated path to occupancy, but reduced material waste and comparatively less site disruption.
From temporary modular classrooms to permanent schools, ModSpace provides fast, affordable solutions for education. Watch this short video to hear why some educators chose modular and ModSpace for their school projects.
Oxford Downs horse racing track wanted to expand its location to include a cardroom and Tiki bar. Their eyes were set on a luxury facility, but they also needed it to be operational quickly. ModSpace used modular construction to deliver everything the track owners needed in a fraction of the time it would have taken to build using traditional methods.
The finished cardroom includes 23 card tables and several large-screen TVs that show thoroughbred races from around the country. Guests can play poker, bet on races or relax in the outdoor Tiki bar. The modular casino also includes a breakroom and locker room for employees.
Unified Fire Services Area (UFSA) needed a new fire house for three full-time employees in Eagle Mountain, Utah. The building had to fit in a 24’ x 60’ area and it had to be ready in just 120 days. UFSA quickly realized modular construction was the best choice to complete the job on time.
ModSpace went to work on designing and building two 12’ x 60’ modular units that incorporated all of UFSA’s requirements; three bedrooms, two restrooms, a kitchen, a lounge and a space for a washer and dryer. They were delivered, installed and the building was ready for occupancy in less than 120 days.
“ModSpace was very easy to work with in getting changes and details into the plans,” said Cynthia Mathews, Regional Director of United Fire Services Area. “I was happy to have someone local to talk and meet with on the project.”
